I have been going through this book with my 3rd grade daughter. It is wonderful! My life has been so easy because there is pretty much zero (or very little) prep work for each day, and she is getting hands on activities, as well as experience responding to text through writing. I highly recommend this unit study, as well as the other unit studies available here on this website. We have worked through several of them, and my children (boys and girls) love them.
